Reverend Susan Shumway
Interim Pastor
Susan is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. She is grounded in her faith and love for all of God’s children, including her own sons, Ian and Zachary. Susan was born in Massachusetts, and has lived in Louisiana, Mississippi, Kansas City, Dallas, and now O’Fallon for the last 16 years. Along the way she has received her BA in History from UMKC and her Master of Divinity from Texas Christian University. Her parents are retired and living in Connecticut. Susan has been involved in St Charles County Equality Coalition, St Charles Progressive Democrats, and is an active member of Grace United Church of Christ in O’Fallon. She was the Democratic Candidate in 2020 for MO State Representative District 108.
